The Zeiss Conquest HDX Binocular improves on the previous Conquest models by maximizing edge-to-edge resolution, light transmission, and color fidelity while minimizing chromatic aberrations, stray light, and coma. Ergonomically, the magnesium alloy chassis results in about and infinity is maintained. People with close-set eyes will enjoy the minimum interpupillary distance of 54mm.
Functionally, the eyecups have been improved, a locking diopter has been added. The rubber armoring is now resistant to sweat, insect repellent, sunscreen, and other chemicals, has a more grippy feel, and rounder edges. With the HDX models, the binoculars of the Conquest series can accept a tripod adapter in the front of the hinge. Conquest HDX binoculars are waterproof to 4 meters, nitrogen filled, and have LotuTec hydrophobic coatings on external lens surfaces.
